Itinerary

Our guide will pick you up early from your Arusha accommodation. We’ll drive 120 kilometers to Tarangire National Park, known for its lush grasslands, ancient baobabs, and abundant wildlife. After a picnic lunch, we’ll continue our game drive, focusing on the park’s famous elephant population.
Tarangire, one of Tanzania’s largest parks, located in the Manyara region, is a sanctuary for majestic herds of elephants and awe-inspiring tree-climbing lions. The park’s legendary baobab trees, revered by local cultures for their mythical powers, add to its mystique. The Tarangire River, a year-round lifeline, sustains the park’s wildlife through the dry season.
After enjoying a hearty breakfast, you’ll set off for Serengeti National Park with a delicious picnic lunch in hand. Along the way, you’ll have the opportunity to spot fascinating wildlife during a leisurely game drive. The Serengeti is well-known for its amazing wildlife, breathtaking views, and the annual migration of over 1.5 million wildebeest and hundreds of thousands of zebras. It’s a sight to behold as these animals navigate through crocodile-infested waters, showcasing the remarkable survival of the fittest. Additionally, the wildebeest give birth to over 8,000 calves every day before embarking on their 1,000 km (600 mile) journey once again.
Today, you have the chance to explore the Serengeti. You can opt to join an early morning balloon safari, but please keep in mind that this will come at an extra cost and needs to be booked in advance. You can spend the day going on game drives and enjoying the accommodation. Lunch can be served picnic-style during a break in the game drive or at your accommodation. In the evening, you will return to the same accommodation as the previous night for relaxation, dinner, and overnight rest.
Following a brief morning game drive in the Serengeti, we will proceed to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. En route, we will have the opportunity to visit a Maasai village and gain insight into the local culture. Upon arrival at the lodge situated on the crater rim, there will be ample time to witness the magnificent sunset over the crater.
Rise early for a full-day exploration of Ngorongoro Crater. This natural zoo is home to thousands of animals. We’ll spend extra time here to maximize wildlife viewing. After a picnic lunch, slowly make our way back to Arusha, arriving in the early evening. Your safari ends with a head full of wonderful memories!
